Well, it seems like it's been forever since I've been on here. Pretty much haven't updated since school got out. whoppsies(: but anyways, I've had a lot going on this summer. I went down to Kansas City, Kansas for about 3 weeks in early summer to go see my brand new baby cousin (now 2 months old.) He's the most adorable thing ever! First grandbaby of this side of my family. (: then I was back up in CC for pretty much the rest of the summer. & obviously nothing really happened then.
The biggest thing that happened this summer was my decision to move in with my cousin in KCK. Yeah, I'm gonna be living in Kansas for the next school year. Maybe my whole high school career if this year goes well(: I'm actually really excited. & scared at the same time. I mean, I'm going from crappy CC/V which is a 2A school to Spring Hill which is a 4A school. I got a chance to go see it today(: that was pretty cool. Got a tour & got to see where my classes are going to be. So, I'm not so worried about getting lost now. But, its still a pretty big school. You could probably fit 3 CC/Vs in Spring Hill. It's amazing(: haha also picked out my classes(: super excited.
Sadly (and happily) I moved away from my momma. I mean, thats every teens dream, right? Yeah well I cried pretty hard when I had to see her leave today.../: I know I'm gonna miss her. I mean, this woman has been there for me for [almost] 16 years. & now she can't be/: kinda sucks knowing that if I'm sick or sad I won't have my momma. Oh well..... Its a chance to be independant. (:
So, I'm looking on the plus side of things(: Gonna be missing all my friends back at CC/V. But, I'm not gonna miss the place AT ALL. Drama infested hell hole if you ask me. But, I'll leave you to formm your own opinions. Have fun in the 2011-2012 school year everyone(: an early congrats to the 2012 Senior Class(: & yeah... I guess I'll be talking to you guys whenever(: if you actually read thru this whole thing, & do wanna talk, just hit me up on FB or text it if you have the number(:
Bye bye,<3

Goodbye ://
Okay so I know we're supposed to do your blog on something in the news but, I want to do mine on the Seniors that will be gone in 3 days :// This year went by really fast. And now, looking back i'm kinda wishing I would have taken more time to have fun. A party here. Hanging out there. Just being with my friends.
Just cuz I've gotten close to two of the seniors this year doesn't mean I'm not gonna miss all of you. Seniors were a big part of our sports teams. They add to the character of this school. I know that next year a new flow of seniors will come in and the story will repeat. ://
And, this year is really hard. Not just because of the Seniors leaving. But becuase of a lot of my other friends moving. Everyone who I openly call my "brother" will be gone next year. These next 2 weeks are the last I have with them. ://
So, heres to all the Seniors. Special mention to Eric (Teddybear), Trevor (smexy mexican), Seth (Sethaluffagus), Johnny (my short buddy), Stetson (my other lover), Caity Lynn (my dumb blonde Texan),and Marissa (bestest friend). I love you all very much. And I'm very happy that ya'll are a part of my life. You have helped my through some rough times. And, I know not all of you will read this. But, it still needs to be said. I really don't want this year to end... Cuz I don't want to lose all of you. I just hope that even though your're leaving, we don't lose touch. That would honestly kill me :// Not all of you are moving far either. And in that case, I hope that we can still hang out sometimes (:
I love you all <3
Just so you have something to comment on, what seniors are you gonna miss? Do you have any friends moving away? Are you moving? If yes, where to? And who (in general) are you gonna miss next year?

What Have The Schools Come To?
On Friday, a track coach in suburban Boston was fired becuase his boys track team weren't wearing their shirts on a 75 degree day. He was let go on the spot and escorted of school property. He wasn't even given a reason for his firing. And all this because a few girls felt "uncomfortable" about the boys not having shirts on.
The team was undefeated with their 2-year coach. However, when he was fired, they lost their first meet.
Alright, this is a high school team. So, there should be high school girls. Last time I checked, most girls like guys without shirts?? And, if the boys are in track, they should be fit, yes? So, whats the issue? Are the girls seriously THAT prude that they freak out over a guy not having a shirt on?? Just wow. It's those kind of girls that annoy me endlessly.

Also, if I were the coach, I would be pissed. Beyond it. Fired in front of my team because of a few annoying prude little girls. Not to mention that my team was probably very hot. I mean, 75 degrees outside & you're out running around. Thats just cruel. Besides, it's not like it was a girls team going topless. It was boys!! You see shirtless men in public ALL THE TIME.
Just... I honestly can't explain how mad this story made me without using quite a bit of "Unappropriate School Language." So, I'm just going to go.
Views?
Read it for yourself.

Mrs. Flikkema, I'm sorry. I mean, this isn't a story about what happened to Osama Bin Laden. It's a story about how America celebrated but still... I couldn't find anything else.
Go USA (: Link
Anyways... As the whole world knows, Osama Bin Laden was pronounced dead last night (5.1.11). And the US finally has something to celebrate. Major crowds gathered at sites like Ground Zero and the White House last night and many other smaller groups around the USA. Spirits have never been higher. It had been 10 years of frustration building & building. We all wanted this guy dead. We wanted him to pay for what he did to this nation. And finally, karma caught up with him.
The Phillies & Mets were in the middle of a game when the chant "U-S-A! U-S-A!" camedown from the crowd. New Yorkers gathered in Times Square waving American Flags, chanting "U-S-A!", singing the national anthem. I think this is a great showing of how well we can band together and how everyone (no matter what differences we have) can celebrate this news & finally get a bit of closure.
I'm happy for the families who lost loved ones in the 9/11 attacks, for the ones who have had loved ones die over seas in search for this SOB. Finally, the USA has something to be proud of in such a rough time.
Idk, I'm just proud of this country (for once.) Thoughts? How did you find out? Did you believe it at first?Where were you when you found out?

Rio wins Once Again
So, I couldn't find anything to post on this week. Except for how well the movie 'Rio' is doing. Again. -__-'
Anywho... 'Rio' still stayed in the #1 spot this weekend, fighting off Water For Elephants and the new Madea movie. I guess I expected this. When you think about it, 'Rio' will appeal to more people that 'Madea' or 'Water For Elephants'. This is because 'Rio' is made for kids & their parents. And that is a very big percent of the US' population. However, 'Madea' and 'Water For Elephants' is made for a more mature audience which cuts down on the number of people that will go to see it.
So, yeah. Totally expected. Not saying that 'Madea' or 'Water For Elephants' did bad. They both met what was expected from the opening weekends.
So bravo to all the movies coming out recently and bravo to 'Rio' for remaining on top. Wonder how long it will last up there.?
Sorry this post couldn't be longer ://

Birds of 'Rio' Slay 'Scream 4' In The Box Office
There have been a few movies opening in the past couple weeks: Hop, Scream 4, Hanna, Soul Surfer, and The Conspirator. However, last weekend came the release of 'Rio'. This movie has a basic story of a pair of birds getting lost in Rio & having to find their way home (I think o.o). Anywho, 'Rio' blew all the other movies out of the water this past weekend. It had an opening weekend of about $40 Million, the biggest opening weekend this year.
'Rio' blew past 'Hop', another family flik, as it sank to earning about $11.2 million. It also killed 'Scream 4' which earned about $19.3 Million. 'Soul Surfer' lost about 30% and fell to earning $7.4 million. However, in 10 days it has earned slightly less than $20 million. 'Hannah' was down 40% and fell to $7.3 million. It could pass 'Soul Surfer' on the top ten list once the final numbers are released today.
Top movies:
1. 'Rio,' $40.0 million (3,826 screens), new release
2. 'Scream 4,' $19.3 million (3,305), new release
3. 'Hop,' $11.2 million (3,608 screens), $82.6 million total
4. 'Soul Surfer,' $7.4 million (2,214), $20.0 million
5. 'Hanna,' $7.3 million (2,545), $23.3 million
6. 'Arthur,' $6.94 million (3,276), $22.3 million
7. 'Insidious,' $6.86 million (2,233), $36.0 million
8. 'Source Code,' $6.30 million (2,557), $37.0 million
9. 'The Conspirator,' $3.92 million (707), new release
10. 'Your Highness,' $3.90 million (2,772), $16.0 million

I actually find this kinda surprising. I mean, Rio looked like a good movie. It's the first "kiddie" movie that I've wanted to see in a long time. However, I didn't think it would do so well as to have the best opening weekend this year. I'm thinking its a movie I want to go see, even if i am 15. Bring out the inner kid :3 Thoughts?

Don't Take My Food ://
Freaking recession. Ruining everything for the commom person. It's causing food companies to do 1 of 2 options. Either rise the prices of their products or keep the price the same but lower how much of the product you get.
Therefore, most of the companies are doing the second option. Which is ridiculous. The companies are hoping that consumers won't notice the changes in how much bang they're getting for their buck. Well, thanks to this article, we will know. Some of the products that are being reduced are:
Kellog's Cereal
Snickers Bars
Tropicana
Haagen Dazs Ice Cream
Chicken of the Sea Tuna
Frito Lay Chips
Saltine/ Graham Crackers
Reeses
Bounty Paper Towels
Heinz Ketchup
It's rather annoying that all of the items listed are major household items. Candy, chips, juice, breakfast items, event eh Quicker-Picker-Upper. I honestly hate living in a recession. Everything gets screwed over. But I'm not gonna go off on that. Waste of time. What do you guys think about this reduction?

Does Your Bra Fit?
I saw this title on the AOL homepage and obviously, it caught my attention. Therefore, I read it.
It was a relatively short article about how most women these days are just too set into their old bra-buying ways to realize that their bra may not fit them anymore.
"But what most women don't realize is that their bodies are constantly changing. A bra size could change with as little as a five-pound weight loss or gain, changing physical activity or even age."
The article also mentions that you should probably go get fit for a bra every year by a professional at a professional store (Victoria's Secret, Nordstrom, etc.)
I honest to God found this a bit crazy. And if you're a guy, you just aren't going to understand. I mean, I guess I'm one of those women who is set into her ways. I know what bra I wear and thats always what I buy. Just cuz it holds everything together xD
According to this article, there are 4 main things to think about when buying a bra:
The Band: Should be firm against your body to provide most of the support.
The Shoulder Straps: Should not be taking the brunt of the weight. If they're digging into your flesh, you need a firmer fitting band.
The Under Wire: Should encapsulate the breast and should tack firmly against the body.
The Look: If the bra fits properly, your nipples should be on the level of the middle of your upper arm and within your arm span.
If you get a bra that follows these guide lines, you should be all set to go.

Depression: Facts vs. Myths
Okay so it seems an epidemic as of lately that lots of people are becoming depressed. And, I found an article about depression with myths and facts. The article went something like this. Myth: Depression affects only women.
Fact: Depression can affect anyone.
Depression is nearly twice as common in women as in men, but men still get depressed -- especially as they get older -- and may feel a loss from career changes or the death of a spouse, says Dr. David Sommers, a scientific review officer at the National Institute of Mental Health.

Depression is nearly twice as common in women as in men, but men still get depressed -- especially as they get older -- and may feel a loss from career changes or the death of a spouse, says Dr. David Sommers, a scientific review officer at the National Institute of Mental Health.
"It is true that depression is more common in women than in men and that women are more likely to seek help than men, but men have trouble with their vulnerability and are more likely to use counterproductive coping strategies," such as alcohol, than to ask for help, Duckworth says.
Depression in guys can also look different than it does in women: Men are more likely to feel tired and irritable and lose interest in work or hobbies, while women tend to feel guilty, sad or worthless, according to the NIMH.
Myth: Depression is an adult problem.
Fact: Children can get depressed, too.
"Depression can happen across the lifespan," Duckworth says.
Some 8 percent of kids ages 12 to 17 suffer a depressive episode, according to the Federal Interagency Forum on Child and Family Statistics. But depression can look different in children and teens than it does in adults.
"Teens and children are more likely to show people rather than tell them they're depressed," Duckworth says. "Most adults can identify that they feel down, sad, and not every kid is able to articulate that."
A depressed kid may frequent the school nurse, complaining of bellyaches and headaches, he says, while depressed teens may be irritable and angry.
Myth: Depression isn't a medical problem; you could get over it if you wanted to.
Fact: Depression is a medical problem that can require help to overcome.
"This is a treatable condition and not a right-wrong fault issue. But that is a common misconception," Duckworth says. "Being sad, grieving a loss -- these are not clinical syndromes, but when you have a collection of symptoms that continue for weeks and are associated with sleep problems, negative thoughts, thoughts of suicide -- that's different from being down in the dumps."
The key distinction is how long and how severly you feel this way and whether your ability to function at home and work are affected.
Myth: Depression is a normal part of being a teenager.
Fact: Adolescent moodiness is not the same thing as teen depression.
"I don't consider depression a natural outcome of being a teenager," Duckworth says. "However, being a teenager can be a risky business."
Be on the lookout for how long a teen's symptoms last and how severe they are. Irritability, anger, falling grades, trouble at school, time alone and drug and alcohol use can be signs of more than just the blues.
"Many teens have conflict with their parents and struggle with their identity, but normal adolescents don't talk about killing themselves or losing interest in their friends," Duckworth says.

***Okay so I don't necessarily agree with this one... "Normal" teens... At least the ones I know... DO talk about killing themselves. While most aren't 100% percent serioius about it, it is something I hear a lot***Myth: Depression is all in your genes.
Fact: Depression runs in families, but genes are not determining factors.
Myth: Antidepressants will change my personality.
Fact: Antidepressants won't change one's personality.
Myth: Antidepressants help everyone.
Fact: At best, 60 percent of people get better with antidepressants.
Psychiatric meds might improve certain symptoms of depression, but they're not going to affect life circumstances or counterproductive thinking. The STAR*D trial, a large federally funded study, found that just 40 percent of people improve with the first antidepressant they try, a number that goes up to 60 percent once you count the people who try more than one. More recently, a January report in JAMA found that people with mild depression weren't helped any more with an antidepressant than they were with a placebo, so if your depression isn't severe, you may want to consider exercise and psychotherapy first.
"There's some evidence that the combination of medication and psychotherapy is better than either one alone," Sommers says. And, he adds, the effects of psychotherapy seem to be more durable than drugs.
So, I definately learned a few things form this article. And I honestly find depression interesting... What are your thoughts?

Trump Haha (:
Ahhhhhhlright. Apparently Donald Trump complimented Lisa Rinna on her new, reduced lips. xD Creeper. I don't pay attention to Mr. Trump. I don't know who Lisa Rinna is. And I don't really care about The Apprentice. Frankly, I think it's a wonder that it's still on tv. But, I find it funny that he's all creeping up on Lisa. Donald Trump has always kinda scared me. Now I know why. xD
Anywho... He has apparently said that he shouldn't have done complimented her. I think it's even more effed up that he fired her right after complimenting her. It's like "Oh yeah. You look good but you suck as a business woman." Kinda a slap to the face if you ask me.
There isn't a lot I can write about this since the article I read wasn't very informative.
Donald Trump will always be a creeper to me.

Update: Destination ImagiNation
Okay so Saturday Hannah, Michelle, and I went to the Regional tournament for Destination ImagiNation. We honestly had a lot of fun. We did our instant challenge at 8:45 and then our main challenge at 10:00. After that, all three of us were hungry. So, we walked to Subway. THAT was a lot of fun. We sat there at a stop light waiting for the crossing sign to change. After about 10 minutes, we realized we pressed the wrong button :3 We kinda got screwed on our sandwiches too. But, oh well. It was still fun.
So, after we finished eating, we went back and took a nap in the hallway. Then Mr. Mowery comes to get us. He takes us into a room and was like "How do you guys think you did?" So we answered alright because that's what we thought. He pauses then says "Well, in reality, you didn't do well at all. In fact, you didn't meet the minimum points to go to State. You'll still get your medals though." Then the girl that was with Mowery was all "Yeah we don't want your school to have to spend the money to send you to Denver just to have you guys embarass yourselves."
Honest to God I almost turned to her face and said "Okay honey, listen up. We wouldn't 'embarass' ourselves in front of the 'pros'. We places 4th last year at State, alright?! We were one place away from going to Globals. Kthanks(:" However, I did not. I really wanted to. But I held my tongue.
So basically, we got screwed out of our points. In one part of the scoring they gave us an 84 our of 240. In another they gave us 2.5 out of 30! The appraisers screwed us up the arse and frankly, I'm pissed about it. The best part, was them giving us the 1st place medals. "Oh yeah you can't go to State but we'll give you a 1st place medal anyways." The only reason we got them was because we were the only team in our challenge. I wanted to throw it back in their face and be like "Oh sorry. You basically said I didn't desreve this."
I'm just beyond mad at this. I know we we're as prepared as we should have been but who cares? We still did GOOD. And ya'll made us feel like sh!t. So, thank you. Peace(:

Destination ImagiNation Competition 3/5/11
Okay so not a lot of people really know what DI is. I didn't when I came here last year. Basically, it's an international tournament that occurs every year that makes you think outside the box. I fell in love with it last year. And thats why I'm still doing it this year. (: Last year, I was forced into DI because of fundemental classes. I honestly hated it at first. I didn't want any part of it. But, the longer I was in the class, the more I fell in love. Sadly, I got sick with Mono 2 weeks before last years regional tournament. I was lucky to even go with my team. I couldn't perform. Which sucked becuase our skit was focused around my dancing. Luckily, my team rallied themselves and made some chances in my absence.
They are the reason that we went to State (:
At state, I could perform. And, we took 4th place at State. Which was amazing for a first year team. It wasn't enough to send us to Internationals though. But, we were happy with how far we got.
Now this years regional competition is just 2 days away. And, technically, it's my first Regional competition. And I'm nervous to say the least. I feel so unprepared. But, it's a sure thing that we're going to State based on the challenge we picked. So, I'm looking forward to THAT. I had such fun last year. I'll be dancing again this year (:

Charlie Sheen, Can You Not Get It Together?
Okay so if you even own a tv or have access to the internet you would know who Charlie Sheen is. If not, he's 1 of the 2 main actors on the hit sitcom Two and a Half Men. Lately, he's been in a lot of trouble. And it seems that the world is getting sick of his retardedness. I mean, come on now Charlie. Accusations of cocaine usage? Hooking up with hooker?! You really do need help.
Mr. Sheen was on the Today Show this morning to give a rather candid interview. And he just made himself look like more of an a$$. In the post I read the author said it was "no doubt one of the more bizarre celebrity stories in recent memory." And from what I read, I'll agree to that. Charlie was quoted as saying he was the "primary patient" of the rehab center he was at and that he achieved "primary success." He also said that he overcame drugs with the power of his mind. Lastly, he said "Come on, bro, I won best picture at 20. I wasn't even trying." And an ego like that just makes me wanna punch him to be honest.

Charlie Sheen thinks he's all high and mighty and such an amazing actor. Sure, he gets paid 2 million an episode. But, that doesn't make you a better actor. He just needs to come down off his high horse and realize he's no better than most of the population. In fact, in my eyes, he's worse. He just... needs help. And he needs it badly. He went to rehab but he needs help to calm that ego of his.
It's people like this that makes the human race look like a bunch of a$$holes. Thanks Mr. Sheen.

Apples & Decisions: Update
So, if you read the last post, you would have seen that I was really confused about "apples" (cough cough guys). But, I came to a conclusion
Caity-Lynn thought #1. Mrs. Flikkema thought #2.
And the decision was.... Apple #2.
Apple1 and I decided it would be a good thing to be friends now. We both still have feelings for each other. And he's going through a hard time. I kinda feel like it's my job to be here for him? Not job but I would feel like a bad person if I just left him.
Meanwhile, Apple2 and I aren't together. We're just... giving it time (: But, I'm happy about how things turned out. Very happy. The results are better than I thought they would be.
So now, we just have to see what the future holds. But for now, I'm off. I'm coloring my hair (: The color is a secret c: I like how it's turning out (: Hah
Update 2.26.11: Apple 2 and I are together :3 lmao
Caity-Lynn thought #1. Mrs. Flikkema thought #2.
And the decision was.... Apple #2.

Apples & Decisions. Read & You'll Understand.
So, this post is one I'm doing from home. The way I see it, blogs don't have to be done at school, yes? And, I'm starting to like this so... yeah.
Currently: Chilling in my room
Mood: Mehh :? Been better.
I'm just really confuzled. Really super duper confuzled. Ever had a situation where you pick something then you look back and think "well maybe I should have waited to see what other options there were..."?? Yeah well I'm in the middle of one of those moments. Names need not to be mentioned. But... #1 is amazing. Like... my d*mn. Everything that some could want, yes? Yes. And ya know, if #2 weren't in the picture... everything would be just peachy.
Unfortunately, this is not the case.
Cuz #2 is here. And #2 isn't leaving.
So now I have 2 apples to chose from. One is the perfect apple. Anything I could have ever wanted in an apple. But, the other apple looks amazingly sweet. Looks like one I could enjoy mega big time. But, I can only eat one of these apples. The other will basically be smushed. Splat! Done. :/ Apple #1 I've known... And love. A lot. Apple #2 is one thatI recently met. And like. A lot. And I can't choose.
And I'm thinking this could end up badly. Praying it won't (: But... it could.
So... Yeah. If Anyone actually reads this, got any advice? Cuz I'm at a loss....

I'm sick of celebrities -__-
The title says it all. I'm plain out sick of celebrities. All high and mighty. It's just annoying. There is a whole story about how Natalie Portman and Kim Kardashian wore the same dress a few days ago. "It was a steal for only $199!" Yeah, alright. A steal for them maybe. But thats still a crap load of money for people who live everyday like NORMAL HUMAN BEINGS!!! Ugh. Just ugh. Celebrities rule our world today. We care about what they wear. We follow them on Twitter just to see what they're doing every 5 minutes of their lives. We pay $12 to go see their movies and even more to see them sing. We buy tickets to sporting events just to sit in a seat and watch them run a ball back and forth. It's ridiculous. People need to get their own lives. I think it is sooooo stupid that these people make movies and have MILLIONS of dollars. While teachers (who's jobs are way more important) earn minimum wage and they don't get any of the perks that celebs do. They don't get to walk on red carpets or see their names in lights. No. They barely get a thank you for all they do.
But this has gotten way off topic. Back to Natalie Portman and Kim Kardashian. They wore the same dress to some big flashy Hollywood event. Now the question is "Who wore it better!?" -__- Like I really care. They're both bimbos ^-^
"Kim does look gorgeous as usual in the affordable one-shoulder black mini, but with her red lips and delicately side-swept tresses, Natalie is simply stunning. For me, she wins this battle hands down."I just think this is a waste of time. And it furthers the reality of how f*cked up this world is. Millionaires for nothing. When people who spend their time doing worth while things (like, uh, idk teaching the future generation to read and write) are not millionaires. Ridiculous. And I'm just gonna stop now before I freak out on someone.
Kthanks(:

Lady Gaga: Not So Unique?
As usual, Lady Gaga is in the headlines of a lot of blogs today. Last night (as most of you know) was the Grammy's. A great place to make another impact on the world. I didn't personally watch the Grammy's. But I've already heard about Gaga's night. To begin, she was carried on the red carpet in a pod resembling an egg. I'm just sitting here thinking, "wtf?" One of my friends on facebook said there was a rumor going around that she was in teh egg for 3 hours? Completely irrelevant, I know. But, if true, that's crazy. Mmk moving on. Her performance I did watch about 5 minutes ago. While the video was choppy I got the main jist of it. She started out in the same egg that she was carried in on the carpet. She started singing her new song "Born This Way" (which I already find annoying) and immerged. It was a classic Gaga performance. That is, if you can call anything she does "classic." Lots of dancing and theatrics. During the bridge of the song, she ran up to a platform that had a piano on it and played a very creepy song. Old gothic. Kinda brought Dracula to mind. Then she lost her cape thing and danced with her dancers (who were in nudey unitards.) But, we're here to focus on how Gaga is being called a copy cat as of late. There are (probably) millions of people saying that she is copying Madonna. Gaga claims to be so unique but there are many similarities between the two. To begin, her new song "Born This Way" is said to resemble Madonna's 1989 song "Embrace Yourself." She also did her performance with her hair in a high ponytail; something classicly Madonna. Later in the night, she accepted an award in a rubber mat suit with protruding lumps for breasts. Obviously closly resembling Madonna's cone bra. And that's just a few of the things she's done. It's the only ones mentioned in this article. So, is she copying or no? That's for you to decide.
I really have no problems with Gaga. I don't worship the ground she walks on like her "Monsters." She is a person, and she can do wrong. I don't think it's right for her to be copying Madonna. I mean, she's not copying every little thing Madonna wore, did, or said. But, she is taking the basic ideas and "turning them into her own." At least, that's what she'd say. I don't think it's turning them into her ideas. I think it's stealing ideas and tweaking them so she won't get sued for copyright infringment. Now remember, I'm not Gaga bashing. I like most of her songs. Sometimes she can get annoying. But I do like that she's pro-gay (something I STRONGLY believe in.) I guess I'm neutral. I like her and I defend her at points. And other times, I'll defend the anti-Gaga's.

Super Bowl XLV
First blog ever(: Whoop Whoop
Last night, was the Super Bowl. Steelers vs. The Packers. In the first half, the Steelers were getting their butts handed to them on silver platters (21-3). At the end, the final score was 31-25. 21 of the Packers points were from interceptions thrown by the Steelers. I was rooting for the Steelers. Needless to say, I was disappointed in them. I thought they could have pulled through in the second half. But, I was wrong.
Not only did the game disappoint me, but the halftime show did as well. I must say, The Blackeyed Peas aren't so great when they perform live. Their voices are too altered in the studio to even sound good live. Not to mention, Fergie butchered 2 classic songs (Sweet Child of Mine, Time of My Life). It might be that I just have a dislike for The Blackeyed Peas that adds fuel to the fire, but it just wasn't that great.
As usual, the commercials were the only thing watchable. However, even the commercials weren't on their top game either this year. There was the Pug Dorito commercial, Ozzy & Justin Bieber commercial, and the Pepsi Max commercials. Those, in my eyes were the highlights as far as the commercials went. All in all, I expected way more outta the Super Bowl. And therefore, I was disappointed.
